Sunday Mornings:

We take our Sunday school program very seriously. Actually it's not so much a school as it is a time for kids to discover how God can be a part of their everyday life with adult mentors that guide and love them. We base the program on "The 7 Checkpoints" strategy. It boils down to the thought that there are 7 principles that every teenager needs to know about his or her faith.

The principles are:

Authentic Faith-------------Putting Your Trust in God
Spiritual Disciplines-------Seeing with God's Eyes
Moral Boundaries----------Paving the Way for Intimacy
Healthy Friendships-------Choosing Friends for Life
Wise Choices---------------Walking Wisely in a Fool's World
Ultimate Authority---------Finding Freedom under God
Others First-----------------Considering Others before Yourself

All of these are Biblically based and we go through all 7 every year in new and creative ways. It's our goal that every student would understand, commit to memory, and embrace these 7 principles before they graduate.

Our junior and senior highs meet from 9:15am-10:30am on Sundays in the youth rooms.
