[Our
Worship Values] [Our
Worship Services] [Get
Involved]
Our Worship Values
When looking at our services at a whole, we have several
values that we use to guide us in the planning and
execution of our worship gatherings. They are:
Authenticity
We strive in everything we do to be sincere and authentic.
Worship is not a show; it is a real connection with
God. We will tackle real life issues, and we will celebrate
the joys and struggle through the pitfalls of living
as a follower of Christ.
Creativity
God, the Creator, is our example, and so we follow
Him in being as creative as we can be. We are committed
to using all the arts in our services, as well as using
technology to bring the message of the gospel to our
community in new and innovative ways.
Excellence
It pleases God and inspires people. We strive to
give God the very best of everything we have,
including our gifts and talents. We believe that
the Holy
Spirit is present and is leading us just as strongly
in
the
planning of our services as He is in the spontaneous
moments and changes that sometimes happen during
the services. Excellence for us means getting
rid of as
many distractions as possible, while creating
an environment that leads people into God’s
presence in a variety of ways.
Diversity
We desire to lead different people from different backgrounds
to One God. It is our belief that preferences of musical
or service flow style are given to us by God, and that
this is a good thing. We think it is not only ok, but
vitally necessary to have several churches in a community
who each do a separate style of service excellently.
At Grace, we attempt through our services to cut as
broad a swath as possible in regards to service style.
We hope that no matter what your worship style preferences
that you will be able to find a service at Grace that
you can connect with.
Unity
We believe that the important unifying factor for
God is not style; it is the truth of His word,
and His
transforming presence. Our prayer is that whatever
service at grace that you attend, you will be
met with a consistent, biblical presentation of
truth,
and a
palpable sense of God’s manifest presence.
