Involved
There are a number of ways for seniors to get involved
at Grace and we love and value the involvement and
gifts of each person who attends Grace. Below you
will find some opportunities to serve and email contact
links if you are interested in getting involved in
a ministry.
Senior Adult Ministry
Contact Dick Page
• Senior Center – help
with sign ins, planning programs, special events,
food
services. Senior
Center meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
Facility
Care and Repair
Contact Diane Wright
• Decorating Team – find
your niche in assisting in decorating different
areas of the church for weekend
services and special events.
• Facility Maintenance – put
your skills to work on projects requiring plumbing,
electrical, HVAC,
painting, general construction, and carpentry.
• Grounds Maintenance – help
with snow removal, planting and landscape care,
irrigation, organizing
and serving during special work days.
Children’s
Ministry
Contact Larry Shallenberger
• Nursery [infants
through toddlers] – interact,
cuddle, feed, rock to sleep - and yes, change
diapers.
• 2-year olds – prepare
the ever-popular snacks (and clean up afterwards!),
do simple
crafts (ditto
cleanup), read, teach, play.
• Preschool [includes 3-5 year-olds] – teach,
play, read, lead small groups, serve snacks and
just enjoy this fun age group.
• Elementary [kindergarten to 1st grade, 2nd to 3rd
grade, 4th to 5th grade] – teach, play,
lead small groups, supervise activities.
Technical and Skilled
Contact Bernie Farabaugh
• Accounting – process
deposits and contributions from weekly offerings,
donations,
special events,
staff purchasing, filing, etc.
• Administrative – perform receptionist
duties, complete data entry projects.
• Office Support – mailroom services,
photocopying, typing, filing, bulk mailings.
