Construction Begins

It has begun. On Wednesday of last week the equipment arrived on our site and began to dig and pour the footers under the children’s wing of our building. This week the block layers arrived to begin building the walls of the wing. Construction of our new building is officially underway. Temporary power lines are being run to the building site and a new sign will be posted announcing the major players in our construction effort. Speaking of major players, 9 of us stood in a circle a week ago in one of the job trailers, for our initial on-site construction meeting. The architects were there, the job foremen were there, the plumbers and electricians were there. We are underway.�
