If
you had 24 hours to live, what three things
would
you do?
• Spend time with those I love.
• Contact people (by phone or in writing) who have had a profound impact on my
life & tell them one last time.
• Take a walk and be outside
Tell us about
a few influential (or favorite)
books you’ve
read:
• Enjoy reading travel memoirs
• Our Covenant God by Kay Arthur
• The Treasure Principle by Randy Alcorn
Spiritual
Stuff:
Tell us a little bit about your spiritual
journey:
•
Made
a decision to follow Jesus at the age of 5
after a missionary
convention at my childhood church.
• Began really growing in my faith in high
school. Deepened my commitment to the Lord
at college -- Christian friends, my church
and campus ministry all impacted me significantly.
• While my spiritual life has had its ups
and downs, I continue to learn and be challenged
in my relationship with God through my
marriage/parenting, small group, and relationships
with others
as well as through the bible and prayer.
What
did you do before you started working at Grace?
• Worked at the U.S. Department
of State Press Relations Assistant in D.C.
right out of
college.
• Moved back to Erie and tried several jobs – inside/outside
sales for Reed Mfg., sales for WCTL Christian
radio and development director for the Erie
Philharmonic.
• Took time off from working to have my daughter,
Sophia, and spend time as a full-time mother.
How did that (those) prepare you for ministry?
• Helped me to understand how things work in
the government and business world and tested
my skills, abilities, and work ethic.
• Allowed me to develop a heart for those who
don’t know Christ.
• Mothering is a humbling experience and has
caused me to learn total reliance on the Lord
and what it means to be a servant like nothing
else in my life has.
Why
are you passionate about church and ministry?
• Because Jesus Christ is the hope of the
world!
• What we do at Grace is provide a safe,
loving, caring and healing place for people
to be introduced to Jesus and to grow up
in Him. My ministry helps people to get out
of financial bondage and live a life of hope
and freedom. I get excited about seeing lives
changed.
